MAT on Feb 1, 2009
Application invited for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA)/Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programmes in over 371 Institutes. The test will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm on 1.2.2009 (Sunday) at over 71 Centres in India and 5 abroad (Full list of Examination centres available at http://www.aima-ind.org/center_list.pdf). Candidates are expected to report at the Test Centre by 9.15 am.
MAT is an objective type test with multiple-choice answers, designed to measure a person’s general aptitude and will consists of 200 questions with 40 questions each from Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.
Graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or equivalent recognised Degree is the minimum qualification for appearing in MAT. Final year students can also appear provisionally.
MAT Bulletin and Application Form can be obtained from the AIMA counter at Delhi (All India Management Association, Management House, 14, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110 003), selected branches of Bank of Baroda and AIMA Study Centres and other sale outlets, .on payment of Rs 750/- in cash.
The list of branches/AIMA Centres/Outlets where the material will be available for sale is given at http://www.aima-ind.org/mat_general.asp.
Those who require the Application materials by Post, should send a request to ‘The Manager - CMS, All India Management Association, Management House, 14, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110 003’ along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 790/-, drawn in favour of AIMA-CMS payable at New Delhi and two self-addressed slips/adhesive stickers.
MAT Bulletin will be available till 10th January 2009 (Saturday).
The last date for Receipt of filled forms at AIMA, New Delhi is 14th January 2009 (Wednesday). Candidates can check and down load the ‘Admit Card’ having the Roll No and Test Centre details from AIMA website http://www.aima-ind.org/matcentre.asp, 7 days prior to the date of test.
Candidates would be able to view/download the MAT Score from AIMA website http://www.aima-ind.org/ after 3 weeks from the date of the test.
